A while back a I had the pleasure to meet Edwin from Cebas. After a couple of hours of talking about renders and shaders he invited me to join their beta testing for the new finalRender 4.0.
For a couple of days I did test renders to check what the software can do and I started the Peaches scene. The first step was to photograph a couple of peaches and then create the 3d models in Agisoft Photoscan. After this step took them to Zbrush to optimize the geometry. The scene was then created in 3DS Max and rendered with finalRender 4.0. All the passes were then taken to Photoshop as you can see in the video.
